Terms of Service

Last updated: May 25, 2026

These Terms govern your use of scigoldpower.com (the "Site") and your purchase of products from SCIGOLD (operated by Shenzhen Scigold Battery Technology Co., Ltd.). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Orders & Pricing

  • All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice; the price at checkout is final.
  • An order is not accepted until you receive an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason, including pricing errors, suspected fraud, or limited availability.
  • If we cancel an order after payment, a full refund will be issued within 5–10 business days.
  • Sales tax is added at checkout based on the destination address where required by law.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • Free standard shipping on US orders over $35. Smaller orders ship for a flat fee shown at checkout.
  • Standard delivery time is 3–7 business days within the contiguous US. International shipping times vary by destination.
  • Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other factors beyond our control.
  • You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by your country of destination.

4. Returns & Refunds

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a refund:

  • Items must be in original condition, with all packaging, accessories, and components included.
  • Used batteries that have been cycled more than 5 times are non-returnable for safety and hygiene reasons (you may still file a warranty claim — see Section 5).
  • Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

To start a return, email [email protected] with your order number. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a shipping address. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item, to the original payment method.

5. Warranty

SCIGOLD batteries and chargers carry a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty covers:

  • Cells that fail to retain at least 80% of rated capacity within the first 100 charge cycles.
  • USB-C charging case malfunctions (LCD failure, port damage, charging circuit defects).
  • Cable fraying or connector failure under normal use.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage from drops, crushing, or punctures.
  • Water damage (unless the product is marketed as water-resistant).
  • Use with incompatible chargers or in applications outside the product's intended use.
  • Normal wear on cosmetic finishes after extended use.
  • Loss or theft.

To file a warranty claim, email [email protected] with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video where applicable. Warranty claims are typically resolved within 7 business days.

6. Product Use & Safety

SCIGOLD batteries contain lithium-ion chemistry and must be used responsibly. By purchasing, you agree to:

  • Use only with chargers and devices designed for the rated voltage and chemistry.
  • Not expose cells to temperatures above 60°C (140°F) or below -20°C (-4°F) for extended periods.
  • Not puncture, crush, disassemble, or modify cells in any way.
  • Recycle exhausted cells responsibly through certified e-waste channels (Best Buy, Home Depot, Call2Recycle in the US).
  • Keep cells away from children and pets.

Full safety information is included with every order and at our safety guide.
