This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies SCIGOLD uses on scigoldpower.com, what they do, and how you can manage them. Read it together with our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember information about your visit — like your preferred language, items in your cart, or whether you're logged in — so the next visit is smoother. Some cookies last only as long as the browser session ("session cookies"); others persist until they expire or you delete them ("persistent cookies").
We also use similar technologies (local storage, pixels, web beacons) that serve similar purposes. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of them as "cookies."

A. Strictly necessary (always on)
Required for the site to function. Cannot be turned off.

B. Analytics (cookieless)
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage — page views, referrers, and which content resonates — so we can improve the site. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies on your device and does not track you across other websites, so no consent banner is required.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or any other cookie-based analytics. If we add cookie-based analytics in the future, we will list them here and add a consent mechanism first.
C. Marketing (opt-in)
Used to measure ad performance and deliver more relevant content. Only loaded if you opt in. Currently not active — we will update this page when marketing cookies are deployed.
3. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Help pages:
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the cart and checkout functionality. Blocking analytics and marketing cookies does not affect site functionality.
Do Not Track (DNT)
Our site respects DNT signals. Today there is nothing to opt out of — we set no tracking cookies and our analytics (Ahrefs) is cookieless. If we introduce any cookie-based analytics or marketing in the future, we will honor DNT and gate them behind explicit consent.
4. Changes to this policy
We update this Cookie Policy whenever we add or remove tracking technologies. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
