SCIGOLD doesn't just make rechargeable batteries. We make GOLD — the four standards behind every SCIGOLD 1.5V AA Li-ion cell.
Most rechargeable brands self-report their capacity numbers. Bury safety standards in 6-point footer text. Use the same NiMH chemistry from the 1980s. We took a different approach: verify everything, optimize for 2026, build to outlive the device.

Capacity measured by SGS, a regulated 1.5V output, 1,600 test cycles in our published summary and cells certified to IEC 62133-2 and UN 38.3.
G — Genuine
What we print is what SGS measured.
4,440 mWh per AA, measured by SGS under IEC 61960-3 at 23°C ± 2°C. 50 cells across 3 production batches, standard deviation 1.8%. Not a marketing claim — a third-party measurement. The 4-page SGS test summary is free to download.
O — Optimized
USB-C in. Steady 1.5V out.
Cells charge in the Pocket Case (CW505) or the Home Case (CW508) from one USB-C cable. A built-in regulator holds the output at 1.5V for most of the charge; the BMS guards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit and heat. The Pocket Case's LCD shows each slot's charging status. Full charge in about 2.5 hours from a 5V/3A source.
L — Long-lasting

Why Independent Testing
The industry has a credibility problem.
Most rechargeable brands publish capacity figures that nobody outside the company has checked. Buyers can't tell the difference until their batteries run down sooner than the label promised.
We took a different approach: have our capacity measured by an independent third party. Our 4,440 mWh comes from SGS — a global testing authority founded in 1878 — under IEC 61960-3 protocol. 50 cells, 3 batches, standard deviation 1.8%. The 4-page SGS test summary is free to download. The notarized SGS report is available on request from info@scigoldpower.com.
