- The charger sets the speed: this cable carries up to 240W, so a 65W charger still gives 65W.
- 16-inch MacBook Pro: for models from November 2023 on, Apple lists its 140W adapter with its own 240W USB-C cable as a fast-charge combination; for the 2021 and early-2023 models it lists that adapter only with its USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable.
- Data runs at USB 2.0 (480 Mbps). It does not carry video to a monitor.
- 3 ft (0.9 m) only. For longer runs, the 240W braided cable comes in 6 ft and 10 ft.
